This semester we want to get the kids to realise that just as a caterpillar can turn into a butterfly, so God wants to transform us into new creatures. He wants to take the way we think about things and the way we do things and change them completely.
So the verse for the next few weeks is from Romans 12:2."Don't copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is."
We praised God together in song.
Everyone listened intently to Auntie Lorraine as she began to explain about Metamorphosis. (Charlotte could spell that without the help of spellchecker!!!)
