Promiseland Prizegiving

There was heaps of fun to be had as we all enjoyed a mix of music, singing, dance, presents and the Christmas story told to us as a play. It reminded us all that Jesus, is indeed, the Reason for the Season.

Our memory verse is found in Isaiah Chapter 9 verses 6 to 7...

For to us a child is born,
To us a son is given,
And the government will be on His shoulders.
And He will be called,
Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Food FRENZY Party!!!!!

We had a HUGE end of term bash called the FOOD FRENZY PARTY!!!! and what fun we had!
We iced beautiful biscuits and made funny faces in our desserts and spent our Power Bucks at the SHOP! We came away with really cool stuff to play with, colour in and use in our rooms!
We had a wonderful long time of worship with our brilliant band, RTK (Rep The King) and then Uncle John brought the Gospel message by helping us to understand the meaning of the memory verses we have been memorizing this term (who remembers them??!). This was a very special time!
Then we spent some time biting marshmallows off strings, passing onion chips with straws and hanging out with leaders and each other. :)

The leaders are now having a bit of a break and time to prepare for next term while the kids are looking forward to Maria taking them for some fun as times during the holidays!

A typical day in the life of PL

We have the beautiful Ask God/Thank God and Questions box where anyone can write a short prayer or question. Questions get answered by some of out brilliant leaders and we all learn heaps!

You can see us playing balloon volley ball! hehe. so fun and hanging out with the Rep the King band members before PL starts.

We also have the memory verse and answering questions, drama games, songs, prayer, Power Pods (small groups), giving time, arts and crafts, colouring in competitions and SO much more!

Promise Land Disney PARTY!!!!

We all dressed up as princes and princesses and disney cahracters (like the Incredibles, Jasmin from Aladin, Snow White, Cinderella and so much more)
We played games and ate delicious food (like lollies and ice cream!) and had photo shoots and make masks!
It was great to celebrate the end of term in such a fun way. :)

Noah's Ark Play

We had a wonderful time in PL learning the song and getting our costumes ready.
Then on the day we dressed up and looked incredible. Beautiful birds, big bears, cheeky monkeys, elephant, zebras, lions, ladybirds, dogs, cats, leopards, penguins. you name it we had one!
Little Pebbles helped us and looked so cute in their buzzy bee outfits (lovingly made by Gloria Ward! thanks!)
the kids did a great job of remembering the song and we all had so much fun! :)

MiniGolf trip - Term 1!

We had a brilliant time out in the beautiful sunshine playing a good game of mini golf and enjoying each others company. There was some fierce competition and some yummy snacks at the end of the games. :D It was a great way to end the term. :)
